UPDATE: Washington loss to Weber State story

Well, it turns out the box score I found was wrong. Coach Tia Jackson did start the same lineup, but the Huskies did lose to Weber State, a first in the four-game history of the meetings between the schools. Wednesday was the first matchup since the 1980s.
Here’s the story that ran in our paper this morning. As expected, juco transfer Lydia Young did not play due to knee injuries. Washington hosts Boise State on Sunday at Edmundson Pavilion.
It was the Vikings’ first win against a Pac-10 school since 1996.</a
