Site pushes to make December “Black Women’s Basketball History Month”

I’m loving this unreal snow in Seattle. Yes, mainly because I don’t have to drive to work and haven’t. So the experience around my camp has been getting pegged by little boy’s snowballs, watching people ski down Rainier Avenue like it’s some trail in Whistler, and spending tons of time reading/working by the heater.
Beautiful.
And fascinating when I found an e-mail with this link in my in-box this morning. Now, I don’t know how the WNBA could miss an opportunity like this to promote the black athletes in their league — I believe 60 percent. But what I’ve read so far is interesting. I hope founder Claude Johnson succeeds for all of the sisters that came before me.
