Sheryl Swoopes to call Washington basketball game

Perhaps you’ve heard that Storm color analyst Adia Barnes is off in Israel playing. Well, Fox Sports Northwest did want her to call a few Washington women’s basketball games this winter and since she’s unavailable it seems the station has called in Sheryl Swoopes.
The Storm guard is set to provide color for the UW-No. 22 Kansas State broadcast on Tuesday. Brad Adam is the play-by-play announcer. Swoopes of course starred in the Big 12, leading Texas Tech to a national championship. K-State, the defending champ, is looking to set a school record for best start in history, tying the 1968-69 mark with its 11-0 start.
