Storm agrees to KeyArena lease

The Storm signed a 10-year lease with the City of Seattle to play at KeyArena, the team’s home since its inaugural season in 2000. The deal still has to be approved by the City Council, whose Parks and Seattle Center Committee will begin discussions Tuesday. We’ll have more in Tuesday’s newspaper.
In other Storm news, F Shyra Ely won’t be back. She signed with Chicago today after the Storm didn’t match their offer. Ely wasn’t expected to return after a rocky 2008 season under then first-year coach Brian Agler, who is also director of player personnel.
