Losing continues for Washington; Washington State wins

PaperBagFan.jpgWashington dropped its school-record 11th consecutive game, 77-63 to Oregon State on the road tonight. We’ll have a full report later, but the Huskies were down 10-points at halftime. Meanwhile Washington State is having its best conference season since 2000-01, defeating Oregon 58-45 on the road for its third win of the season. The young Cougars, led by former Washington coach June Daugherty, haven’t won more than two Pac-10 games in a season in eight years when they finished conference play at 4-14.
The Huskies have shown virtually no statistical improvement since when they hosted the Beavers and lost 69-55. OSU hasn’t swept UW since 1999-2000.
