Storm adds two players to training camp roster

SeattleStorm.pngThe Storm is near completing their training camp roster, adding C Kasha Terry and G Melanie Thomas to their training camp roster. Thomas, a Connecticut alum, was rumored to be added earlier this offseason, but the Storm denied those reports.
Storm coach Brian Agler, who’s also the team’s director of player personnel, signed vet Shannon Johnson with the hopes of her backing up Sue Bird this season. He also has a draft pick where a PG could be selected and 2008 pick Kimberly Beck returning, so competition in the backcourt is going to be tight.
Players like Janell Burse and Ashley Robinson already noted that competition was going to be tight for the inside players, even if Lauren Jackson opts not to re-sign with the team. Taylor, drafted in 2006, played for Atlanta last season and was an unrestricted free agent.
Rosters are limited to 11 players this season. Training camp opens May 17 and a maximum of 15 players can be in camp at one time.
