Lauren Jackson returning to play

Storm PF Lauren Jackson is returning to the court after suffering two stress fractures in her lower back that cut her WNBA season short. She signed with the WNBL’s Canberra Capitals, which raised money to have the Australian star play 13 games.
Jackson, 28, is set to make debut on Saturday on the road against the Perth Lynx.
”The last three months have been hard just with the training and the rehabilitation and everything like that. Honestly I just want to get back out on the court, I’m sick of being on bikes and stepping machines,” Jackson the two-time WNBA MVP told The Canberra Times. Jackson opted not to honor her contract with Spartak Moscow after the assassination of the team’s owner. ”I think I’ve been playing for long enough to still have the old shooting touch and things like that. I’m not too worried.”
