TV Alert: Where to catch the game

Static.jpgI’m still holding out for the Christmas wish for a men’s and women’s basketball channel that plays the top game from every conference and is available via the basic cable package. But until Santa arrives, those in the Washington area can at least watch No. 2 Stanford face No. 3 Tennessee at 11:30 this morning on FSN. WNBA legend Lisa Leslie debuts as a color commentator.
And at 10 p.m., the station will carry Washington State versus San Francisco on tape delay. The game is being played in Kennewick but WSU freshman PG KiKi Moore hails from San Francisco and is an emerging talent coach June Daugherty believes all should see.
Want to catch Washington’s tough matchup with No. 16 Michigan State? Well, that’ll take a computer and some dough. You can catch the live broadcast on BigTenNetwork.com for $2.99. Jacob Bodnar is the play-by-play announcer and Dave Ellis is the color analyst. Or you can put them on mute and sync your radio to KKNW (1150 AM) and listen to Steve Sandmeyer on the call.
To read up on the game, you can read our piece and also check out stories from The Everett Herald and Swish Appeal, an online blog.
Lastly, Gonzaga will be on TV as part of the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic. Its game against No. 6 Baylor airs at 8:45 p.m. (PST) on ESPNU.
