Live chat: Storm coach Brian Agler making the rounds
WNBA Coach of the Year Brian Agler is back in Seattle and making the rounds to help raise awareness about the Storm. It starts at noon with a live chat here. Storm CEO/President Karen Bryant will join Agler in answering fans’ questions.
After the chat, Agler will make a pregame visit to the Renton High girls basketball team. He’ll talk with the team about how hard work and dedication in practice can lead to great things, like maybe a championship.
On Thursday, Bryant, Agler and the entire Storm staff along with students from Dearborn Park Elementary will volunteer their efforts at the Emergency Feeding Program of Seattle/King County by packaging food that will be distributed to local food banks.
Agler will head to Vashon Island’s Chautauqua Elementary on Friday for an assembly encouraging the students to participate in the school’s basketball program. Later that afternoon, Agler will travel to West Seattle High to speak with the girls’ basketball team at their practice session.
The last stop is a Jr. Storm Basketball Clinic on Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Crossroads Community Center for boys and girls grades kindergarten through sixth. From 1-2 p.m. Agler will lead a basketball clinic for local high school girls at the same location. Those interested in attending either of the two clinics are encouraged to register online at stormbasketball.com
