Reading up on the defending WNBA champion Storm

SeattleStorm.pngAs previously stated, it’s preview week. The Seattle Times will have a version in Friday’s newspaper, marking the start of the WNBA’s 15th season. But other scribes are getting their work out Thursday.
Here’s some articles and blogs found on the defending champion Storm:
— Everett Herald reporter Scott M. Johnson takes a look at reigning MVP Lauren Jackson’s anonymity in Seattle. (Johnson also covers Washington women’s hoops, so bookmark him for another local view)
— Associated Press reporter Tim Booth says the Storm is thinking about repeating and has the maturity to accomplish one.
— And if you’re a betting person, these guys say the odds are favoring Seattle to win another WNBA championship, but won’t because of some missing players. Too bad they’re a year early on Jackson and can’t pronounce Jana Vesela and Svetlana Abrosimova’s names. Hey, at least they enjoy the game.
