Agler second in COY voting, Robinson fourth in MIP

The WNBA announced several postseason awards today.
Coach of the Year ………… Minnesota’s Cheryl Reeve
Rookie of the Year ………… Minnesota’s Maya Moore
Sixth Woman of the Year … Phoenix’s DeWanna Bonner
Most Improved Player ……. New York’s Kia Vaughn
Storm coach Brian Agler snagged two votes and finished second in the Coach of the Year balloting, but he was a distant runner-up to Reeve who received 36 votes. Agler won the award last year.
Storm center Ashley Robinson picked up three votes for a fourth-place finish in the Most Improved Player category. Vaughn tallied 15 votes while Washington’s Matee Ajavon Washington and Tulsa’s Tiffany Jackson each had 10.
