Washington’s senior tribute video

I’m traveling to Los Angeles for Washington’s Pac-12 conference tournament opener against Oregon at noon on Wednesday. It appears to be the final time the city will host the men’s and women’s tourney, attendance declining since the men’s arrival in 2002.
Las Vegas is the reported new site.
On the women’s side, tourney numbers haven’t been good since the inaugural event in Eugene in 2002. It moved to San Jose, Calif. until linking with the men’s tournament in 2009 in LA, but playing at Southern California’s Galen Center. The past two seasons the women’s semifinal and finals were held at Staples Center and aired on television like the men. But since the move to LA, attendance that hovered around 18,000 in San Jose dropped to 8,000 for the women.
Here’s my story about C Regina Rogers finishing her senior career strong to advance UW’s game Wednesday. There won’t be a Power Ranking, but I thought you might enjoy a second look at UW’s senior tribute video from Saturday.
I’ll be back later with a live Game Thread from the game. Enjoy:
