Poll: Does the Storm need to beat Minnesota for a successful season?

Top-seeded Minnesota and fourth-seed Seattle will face-off Tuesday in a decisive Game 3 of its Western Conference opening-round playoff series. Winner plays No. 2 seed Los Angeles in the best-of-three conference finals beginning Thursday.
The Storm needed a double-overtime win in Game 2 to keep its most unpredictable season alive. So, does the team need to win the opening round series against the Lynx to declare 2012 a successful season overall?
Seattle’s issues this year can be stated in unison — injuries, missing three-time MVP Lauren Jackson for a chunk of the season and building chemistry with a roster overhaul. Still the Storm advanced to a WNBA-record ninth consecutive playoff appearance. But in order to continue to erase its franchise-worst 1-7 start this season, Seattle needs to accomplish some things it really hasn’t done at all.
It must win on the road after going 6-11 away from KeyArena during the regular-season. It must beat a playoff-bound team, only winning five against those teams during the 2012 schedule. Once was against Minnesota (65-62) at home in June. And it must win an opening-round series, accomplishing that twice in its 13-year history.
Vote here whether forcing a fifth opening-round Game 3 in Seattle’s 10-year playoff history makes a difference in the overall season outlook:
