The Spokesman Review is reporting Gonzaga hired longtime assistant Lisa Mispley Fortier to replace Kelly Graves at the helm. Graves was named Oregon’s new coach last week, signing a six-year contract reportedly worth $500,000 the first two years that increases to $550,000 in the last two years of the contract.

Fortier has coached at GU the past seven years. Graves credited her work with the defensive strategy to the nationally ranked Zags finishing with a 29-5 record. Gonzaga won the West Coast Conference title for the 10th straight year, losing in the opening round of the NCAA tournament.

Athletic Director Mike Roth is expected to make the official announcement at 5pm Monday.
