Chat with Storm star Sue Bird cut short, will be rescheduled

Storm PG Sue Bird started Thursday’s live chat, but needed to postpone after the shootings at Seattle Pacific University which affected Storm personnel. The chat will be rescheduled at a later date. Seattle (2-6) hosts defending champion Minnesota (7-0) at 7pm PT Friday at KeyArena (NBA TV/LiveAccess). The Lynx are the only remaining undefeated team this season.

Minnesota set a WNBA record in 2012 with 10 consecutive wins to begin the season. The streak ended in a 65-62 loss at KeyArena. Bird led the Storm sans Lauren Jackson with 21 points and four assists, making five three-pointers in the game.
